Andros Townsend has called out Crystal Palace's Twitter account, appearing to accuse the social media team of "making fun of" Manchester United's Ashley Young.

On Monday morning, Palace posted a clip of winger Wilfried Zaha dazzling Young with his fancy feet during their shock 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

In the clip captioned 'Wilf had him dancing', Zaha twice shimmies past Young on the right flank, leaving the former England international on the deck.

Young impressively scrambles to his feet and blocks Zaha's cross and Townsend, who came on as a substitute during the win in Manchester, believes the United man deserves more respect.

The 28-year-old posted: "A 34 y/o ex winger vs one of the leagues best wingers... he gets destroyed twice yet still manages to block the cross... we should be applauding this not making fun of it #Respect."

Zaha was starting just his second game for Palace since attempting to force a move in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
