The Premier League campaign may be very nearly over but that doesn’t mean it is time for managers to take a break, with transfer season nearly upon us.

Arsenal have the money to compete with the biggest sides in Europe, though whether they will spend it remains a major issue of contention among their supporters, and have an extensive list of strikers they are considering targeting during the window.

Deportivo La Coruna’s Lucas Perez has reportedly been added to that collection of targets but Arsenal may face competition to acquire him, with Leicester another club being extensively linked with the striker.

Elsewhere one of the most high-profile names who could appear on the market is Mario Gotze, Bayern Munich’s World Cup winner who has been extensively linked with the Premier League. And according to the Sun, the Bundesliga champions will let Chelsea sign Gotze for £35m.
