Arsenal fan orders club DVD on eBay, receives photo of Robin van Persie celebrating against his team

Memorable goal: But perhaps Arsenal fans don't want reminding of this

An Arsenal fan was left feeling far from impressed after his newly purchased copy of the club’s 2009-10 season review DVD came with a nasty surprise.

Instead of unwrapping a hardly-used highlights disc he unwrapped a picture of Robin van Persie celebrating his goal against the Gunners.

As if it couldn’t be more disappointing the purchaser ‘Sam’ (whose Twitter handle is @Mesutical) will know not be able to relive such legendary moments as Nicklas Bendtner’s hat-trick against Porto and a last-minute 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers the purchaser received something very different.

The purchaser was less than impressed, using some choice language to describe his vendor, who we can safely predict will not be getting a great rating on this sale.

It seems that a Twitter user named Obviously_Jack is the responsible party, having tweeted a confession on Sunday. However it seems that Mesutical has followed the prankster for some time begging the question: has a hilarious piece of tomfoolery been conducted solely for retweets?

Arsenal finished the 2009/10 season in third place in the Premier League and were knocked out in the fourth round of the FA Cup. They were eliminated in the quarter finals of the Champions League by Barcelona.
