Arsenal and Aston Villa analysts were involved in an altercation in the stands as the Gunners snatched a late win at Villa Park.

Arsenal were drawing 2-2 as the clock ticked down at Villa as they looked set to drop more points in the title race.

But the Gunners then took the lead in the 93rd minute as Emi Martinez put the ball into his own net after a Jorginho strike cannoned off the bar and hit him on the head.

That sparked a commotion in the press box as a war of words erupted between Arsenal analyst Miguel Molina and Victor Manas of Villa.

The two became involved in a heated altercation and the situation is understood to have eventually diffused when Molina left that section of the press box.

Asked about the situation, Arteta said: “Like anything that happens in the stands. We will look at it, address it and take action if it’s necessary.”

Villa manager Unai Emery was also asked about the situation in his post-match press conference, but he was unaware of the incident at that time.
