Arsenal’s team for tonight’s match with Southampton is the most intriguing selection of the Mikel Arteta era so far.
The Gunners are currently on a miserable run of form and they sit 15th in the Premier League going into the match at Emirates Stadium.
Fans were calling for Arteta to make big changes to his team due to the fact Granit Xhaka and Hector Bellerin are suspended. Thomas Partey misses out through injury, and David Luiz is only fit enough for the bench.
The replacement for Bellerin was straight fight between Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Cedric Soares, with the former winning the battle.
