Gabriel Paulista has urged Arsenal to attack Bayern Munich when they travel to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
Arsene Wenger's side secured a 2-0 victory over the Bundesliga champions a fortnight ago and need to produce a similar performance to keep their hopes of Champions League progression alive.
The Gunners have collected just three points from three games in Group F and Gabriel is adamant that his teammates must take the game to their opponents if they are to claim a positive result.
"We are a big team, we are Arsenal and we need to attack because we need the result.
"But we need to attack with intelligence and make sure we don't suffer a defeat and complicate our situation for the rest of our competition."
The north Londoners boast a good record against Bayern away from home, having secure a draw and a 2-0 win in their last two visits to Bavaria, and Gabriel believes Arsenal can earn the points they need to progress to the knock-out stages.
"Everything is possible in football.
"We know the difficulties we are going to find. Bayern are an excellent team playing at home with the fans on their side, so it will be a big challenge.
"If we are as determined as we have been over the last few years, I believe that we can go there and get a great result."
Arsenal warmed up for the crucial Champions League encounter with a 3-0 victory against Swansea on Saturday, which kept the Gunners in second place in the Premier League table.
