Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been forced to abandon his trips to the barber during the coronavirus lockdown.

The Gabon international was pictured back in Arsenal training on Friday as he and the Gunners squad prepare for the season restart.

With trips to the barbers binned as part of the government's lockdown measures, Aubameyang was almost unrecognisable back on the pitch.

Of his new look, one fan said: "Aubameyang wins the worst lockdown hair award. Just get rid."

Another added: "Arteta’s hair is still perfect, there is absolutely no excuse for that mess on Aubameyang’s head."

The 30-year-old is clearly not taking things too seriously, however. He responded to one fan's comment by saying "No Trimm Zone".

He also wrote on Instagram: "Who said I need a barber?"

The prolific Arsenal forward is not alone with Liverpool's Roberto Firmino also catching the eye on his return to training.
