A quiet night and had very little to do. On the rare occasions he was called into action, the German looked fairly solid. Couldn’t do anything about the goal.

Solid if not sensational. Has been out of the team for a few weeks, but didn’t really put a foot wrong tonight on his return.

Decent night for the centre-back, who has been out of form more recently. Never stopped talking and almosts scored in the first-half.

Like Holding, he had a good game. Didn’t offer the Slavia forwards much change and tried to get things going from the back.

In for the injured Kieran Tierney and was doing fine, before he almost gifted Slavia a goal by clearing it straight to Petr Sevcik. Thankfully, he fired wide.
An off-night for the Ghanaian. Passing was a bit sloppy and had a tendency to run up blind alleys. Can and should do much better.
Granit Xhaka 6
Better than Partey alongside him, but not by much. The Arsenal midfield did look much more secure with him in it compared to Saturday.

Arsenal’s best player on a very frustrating night. He missed a great chance in the first-half, but was the source of many of Arsenal’s best attacks.

Got better as the game went on, but not at his usual self. Provided a great chance for Aubameyang to score just after the captain had come on.

Anonymous for large parts of the game and didn’t make enough of an impact. Struck the post with a brilliant free-kick.

Some nice link-up play to get Saka in down the right - but then missed a glorious chance in the second-half.
