Arsenal target Rihad Mahrez is reportedly set to reject a new contract with Premier League champions Leicester City.

Saturday's transfer columns claim the Algeria international will likely seek a new challenge after turning down a new more-than double-your-money deal at the King Power Stadium.

The Gunners have set their sights on Mahrez as Arsene Wenger aims to tackle his side's lack of efficiency in the final third, which he claims cost them a serious title bid last term.

Wenger has already signed Granit Xhaka this summer and is also monitoring the market for a new frontman with a view to rotating France international Olivier Giroud.

Away from Emirates Stadium, Crystal Palace and Tottenham are said to have earkmarked new targets, while Manchester United are set to unveil a big signing this weekend.
