Arsenal to face Paris Saint-Germain, FC Basel and PFC Ludogorets Razgrad in the Champions League group stages

Arsenal have drawn Paris Saint-Germain, FC Basel and PFC Ludogorets Razgrad in the Champions League group stages.

Arsene Wenger leads his side into the competition for the 19th season in a row keen to reverse six years of stagnation in which Arsenal have consistently reached the last 16 and been eliminated.

Arsenal’s Champions League campaign will begin on the week of September 13-14, the group stage ending on December 6-7. The final, to be held at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, will be on June 3.

The Gunners won just three of their eight Champions League games last season and were eliminated by Barcelona 5-1 on aggregate to end a campaign where they had also lost in embarrassing fashion to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos.
