Arsenal will only make further signings in the summer transfer window if a "big opportunities" arise, according to Unai Emery.

The Gunners have already signed Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi this summer, and Emery says it is unlikely they will now make any new additions.

He said: “We signed the players who we needed and we will only sign a player in the next month if he is a big opportunity.”

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Steven Nzonzi but Emery has ruled out a move for a player he worked with at Sevilla.

Emery said: “I know him. But we did not do any movement for him.”

Meanwhile, Emery has said he wants Aaron Ramsey to stay at Arsenal.

Ramsey is entering the final year of his contract at Emirates Stadium but Emery says the 27-year-old is “an important player” in his plans.
