Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has arrived in London to finalise his loan move to Arsenal.

The Spaniard spent last season on loan at Emirates Stadium and he impressed during his time under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal have been pushing to bring him back on loan and have finally struck a deal with Real Madrid that will see Ceballos return for this season.

The 24-year-old has now travelled to London from Spain to undergo a medical and sign the deal.

Ceballos has always prioritised returning to Arsenal due to his relationship with Arteta and the promise of game time ahead of next summer’s rescheduled Euros and Olympics.

Due to current government guidelines, Ceballos must quarantine for two weeks like all arrivals into the UK from Spain.

New signings to Premier League clubs are not exempt from such guidelines and Gabriel Magalhaes is still in quarantine after signing for Arsenal from Lille.
