Heathrow Airport have confirmed they are ready should Arsenal sign a striker today as Twitter erupts over Arsene Wenger’s trip to Paris.

The manager flew to the French capital yesterday, hoping to bring back Edinson Cavani and Adrien Rabiot, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic an intriguing alternative should Paris Saint-Germain refuse to sell.

And the airport have weighed in on the transfer speculation, tweeting advice for the quickest route from the west London airport to the Emirates Stadium.

It hasn't been the only contribution to the transfer window by an airport, Manchester asking its followers which players it needs to keep an eye on in the coming hours.

Any deal for a PSG player is likely to go down to the last minutes ahead of the 6pm deadline, so Arsenal may be grateful for any advice they can get.

Wenger has developed something of a habit of pulling of impressive deals from European powers in recent years, signing Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona and Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.

What to expect on transfer deadline day

1/10

However with Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott yet to hit top-form striking reinforcements are desperately needed at the Emirates. Either Cavani or Ibrahimovic would certainly provide that.
