Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Arsenal's 2-1 victory over QPR at Emirates Stadium

Alexis Sanchez spearheaded 10-man the Gunners victory over Rangers in the late kick-off.

The Chile forward was clumsily tripped by Armand Traore and dusted himself down to do the honours from 12 yards.

But he missed the resulting penalty before going on to score the opening goal and set up fit-again Tomas Rosicky's strike that guided Arsenal home after Olivier Giroud was sent off.

France striker Giroud was dismissed for a headbutt on Nedum Onuoha, handing QPR a lifeline - and they threatened to take full advantage in the closing stages.

Charlie Austin fired his 12th Premier League goal of the campaign with a penalty 12 minutes from time, before Bobby Zamora had a convincing claim for a second spot-kick, but Arsenal held out to condemn Harry Redknapp's men to their ninth straight league defeat on the road.
