Arsenal vs Lincoln City FA Cup quarter final tie confirmed for Saturday March 11 tea-time kick-off

Arsenal will play Lincoln City at 5:30pm on Saturday March 11, the FA has confirmed.

BT Sport 2 will have live coverage of the game, which will be the second of two FA Cup sixth round ties played on the day, after Middlesbrough host Huddersfield Town or Manchester City.

The quarter-final tie pits the National League leaders against the competition’s most successful side and manager; Arsene Wenger has won the trophy six times.

Lincoln stunned Premier League side Burnley to reach the quarter-finals, becoming the first non-League side to reach the last eight in 103 years when Sean Raggett converted from a corner in the last minute of normal time.

Wenger’s men have already faced National League opposition on their cup run, travelling to Gander Green Lane for their fifth round tie against Sutton United. Arsenal were made to work for their 2-0 win, which ultimately came thanks to goals from Lucas Perez and Theo Walcott.

Arsenal were due to host Leicester City on March 11 - the league match has now been postponed. Both sides will receive a £247,500 live broadcast few for the tie with the winner receiving a further £360,000. Lincoln's away allocation for the tie is yet to be confirmed but is expected to be around 9,000 tickets.
