Arsenal XI vs Manchester City: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injuries, Covid latest today

Takehiro Tomiyasu returns for Arsenal and is straight back into the starting lineup against Manchester City.

Arsenal were without all four of their right-back options for their Boxing Day win at Norwich as Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Calum Chambers, Cedric and Tomiyasu all tested positive for Covid-19.

Ben White had to fill in at right-back, but he now partners Gabriel in the heart of defence as Arsenal are able to name their first-choice backline.

Cedric and Maitland-Niles are both fit enough to be named on the bench.

Once again it’s an attack of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli behind Alexandre Lacazette, while Emile Smith Rowe will be hoping to continue his run of goalscoring form off the bench.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Lacazette

Subs: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Holding, Cedric, Tavares, Lokonga, Elneny, Smith Rowe, Pepe

Saturday 12.30pm GMT, BT Sport

Venue: Emirates Stadium

Referee: Stuart Atwell
