West Ham vs Arsenal team news: Starting lineups confirmed - Gabriel Martinelli starts, David Luiz benched

Tom Doyle9 December 2019

Gabriel Martinelli has been handed a starting role for Arsenal in tonight's Premier League London derby against West Ham.

Martinelli starts in attack alongside Nicolas Pepe, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Alexandre Lacazette is among the substitutes.

David Luiz drops to the bench with Calum Chambers and Sokratis at centre-back as Freddie Ljungberg looks for a solution to Arsenal's defensive woes.

Hector Bellerin had been due to start at right-back, but an injury during the warm-up means Ainsley Maitland-Niles starts with Sead Kolasinac brought onto the bench.

As for West Ham, Michail Antonio starts up front with Sebastien Haller on the bench.
