Arsenal are set to bank around £5million from Jeff Reine-Adelaide's move across France to Lyon.

The France youth international, who joined Angers from Arsenal on a four-year deal last summer after failing to establish himself in the first team at Emirates Stadium, is braced for another move after just over 12 months.

Reine-Adelaide revealed his situation had become "very complicated" at Arsenal, prompting his move to Ligue 1 strugglers Angers in July 2018, and now the 21-year-old is set for a return to the Champions League.

Standard Sport understands Lyon have struck a deal worth an initial £23million plus £2.3million in add-ons, with Angers also due 15 per cent of any future sale.

Arsenal will bank around £5million of that fee after negotiating a 20 per cent sell-on clause last summer.
