Arsenal signing Dani Ceballos vowed to repay fans after receiving a grand welcome during the 2-1 win over Burnley on Saturday.

Ceballos, who was making his full debut, set up both goals as the Gunners made it two wins from two in the League to keep pace with Liverpool.

The Spaniard's corner found Alexandre Lacazette, who swiveled to score, before Ceballos snatched possession in the Burnley half, playing in Piere Emerick-Aubameyang to rifle home the winner in the second period.

Arsenal fans sung the midfielder's name to the tune of The White Stripe's Seven Nation Army after his match-winning performance.

"For me it is a great pride," Ceballos told Arsenal's official website when asked about the chant.

"I really want this year to truly demonstarte the football that I have inside.

"I have a lot of enthusiasm for this season and to be able to give a lot of joy to these people.

"The confidence they have in me, I want to return it to them with my performances."

He added: "The truth is that for me it has been one of the most special days of my life.

"I think that starting at home by winning, and with this passion at the end of the match, I think it will be hard to forget this day for me."
