Being a professional fotballer and running a full-time social media account can be hard work, and fans were given a peek behind the curtain as Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan got into a spot of bother yesterday.
Man City's new summer signing Gundogan sent out a message via his official @Guendogan8 Twitter account on Sunday with a picture of Germany team-mate Mesut Ozil sitting alongside Jack Wilshere and Petr Cech.
Ozil was back early from his holidays to watch the Gunners' 3-1 victory over Chivas in California, but Gundogan - or those manning his Twitter account - seemed to have a brief identity crisis, with the accompanying message reading as if it were Ozil.
"Joined the Arsenal team before the final game of the US tour. I'll be back in training soon..."
As if that wasn't enough, the tweet featured Ozil's typical Arsenal sign-off hashtag: "#YaGunnersYa."

The tweet was swiftly deleted, but not before plenty of Gundogan's 154,000 eagle-eyed followers had already spotted it.
While the tweet may suggest that Ozil and Gundogan get a little help running their lives online, it didn't stop Arsenal fans from suggesting that it was just another example of Ozil - who notched 19 Premier League assists last season - helping out a team-mate.
