Mesut Ozil has been spotted reading a book about Arsene Wenger's Arsenal 'revolution' ahead of tonight's Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners made the short journey across the channel yesterday as they prepare to face Unai Emery's side at the Parc des Princes.

The flight time from Luton to France is roughly just 80 minutes and Ozil took the opportunity to brush up on how his manager has influenced life at the Emirates Stadium with a spot of in-flight reading material.

Some of Arsenal's fanbase remain unconvinced that Wenger is still the right man to lead the club forward but Ozil appears to be a dedicated disciple of the Frenchman's philosophy.

The Germany international has previously cited Wenger's influence as a key reason behind his decision to move to north London from Real Madrid in 2013 and seems eager to continue his education on the subject.

Wenger has failed to win the Champions League during his reign at Arsenal but is confident his side can "compete" to reach the latter stages of the tournament this year.

Wenger believes PSG, who he has turned down on three separate occasions, are favourites to progress from Group A and will be wary of the Ligue 1 side's threat, despite a poor start to the season.
