Dutch fitness expert Raymond Verheijen has reignited his feud with Arsene Wenger after another Arsenal player suffered a muscle injury.

The Gunners have endured several injury setbacks in recent weeks with Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin the latest player to pick up a problem.

The 20-year-old has been ruled out of tonight's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich with a groin injury and joins fellow first teamers Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey on the treatment table.

Verheijen has questioned Wenger's methods in the past and has now suggested that the French manager will attempt to absolve himself of responsibility for the club's injury crisis.

"Within the space of 2 weeks the Arsenal players Ramsey, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Bellerin have picked up muscle injuries. Who's next?" he wrote on Twitter.

"This guy [Arsene Wenger] will probably choose denial and put responsibility outside himself again by labelling Bellerin 'injury prone'.

"Or maybe he will repeat again he trusts his medical staff although they have nothing to do with causing injuries. They only cure injuries.

"Do players get injured because they are injury prone or do players become injury prone because of injury after injury due to over training?"

A large number of Arsenal players have suffered muscle injuries of late but Wenger defended his staff after Verheijen's previous outburst and insisted that he 'trusts' the medical staff at the Emirates Stadium.

Verheijen worked as an assistant coach for the Holland national team at the World Cup as well as with South Korea and Russia under Guus Hiddink.
