Arsene Wenger has admitted he does not know if he will commit his future to Arsenal beyond his current contract.

The club's manager over the last 19 years has just 18 months remaining on his deal, which he signed in the aftermath of the 2014 FA Cup victory.

After a torrid trophy-free period Wenger’s side looks to be re-establishing itself as major contenders for domestic honours but he did not confirm that his stay would last beyond 2017.

Speaking after his side’s 3-0 win over Watford he told Sky Sports: “I honestly don't know [when I'll quit].

“I've said many times that I just want to do well. When will I stop? We'll see.”

Wenger’s side never quite found their top form at Vicarage Road but made it five league wins from six games to keep the gap to league leaders Manchester City at two points.
