Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele will be out of action for 10 weeks, the Catalan club have said in a statement.
Dembele started Barca's Champions League clash at home to former club Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, but limped off in tears with a thigh injury after 26 minutes.
"Tests carried out have confirmed that Ousmane Dembele has suffered an injury to the biceps femoris in his right thigh," Barca said on Friday.
And they added: "The approximate time out is around 10 weeks."
This is the ninth injury suffered by the 22-year-old since his arrival from Dortmund for €105 million plus add-ons in August 2017.
The French forward will miss the Clasico clash against Real Madrid on December 18, but should be back for the Champions League knockout stages in February.
