Barcelona coach Quique Setien says he is not concerned by his side's ageing attack and believes that senior players can read the game better.
Five of Barca's front six in the goalless draw at Sevilla on Friday night were over 30 years of age. The other, Martin Braithwaite, is 29.
"You can think that by running, you can play better," Setien said on Monday. "I think the opposite, that sometimes you have to stop and think to play better.
"In the game in Seville, we had them back in their area for a large part of the match. I'm not worried at all about the average age, but about what we do on the pitch.
"The normal thing is that, when you are older, you think and decide better. It's not a question of how much ground you cover, but about getting it right in certain situations.
"And that comes from thinking better, not from running more."
Barca, level with Real Madrid on points but no longer top of LaLiga after their rivals' win over Real Sociedad, face Athletic Club on Tuesday night.
