Barcelona have unveiled their new pink third kit, which went on sale on Wednesday for a hefty £99.95.

The kit, designed by Nike, carries on the theme of celebrating the city of Barcelona, with a red sash running across part of the shirt in a shape that resembles a birds eye view of Avinguda Diagonal, a famous street in the Catalan capital.

Barca's new home shirt features ten vertical stripes, one for each of the city's 10 principal districts while the yellow away strip is a nod to the success of the 2005/06 season, when they won La Liga and beat Arsenal 2-1 in the Champions League final in Paris.

Brazilian forward Philippe Coutinho, centre-back Gerard Pique and French World Cup winner Ousmane Dembele, who was linked with a move away from the club this summer, feature in the marketing campaign for the strip, which will be worn this season by the La Liga champions.

They follow in the footsteps of Manchester United, who played in their new pink third kit for the first time at Turf Moor against Burnley in their last Premier League outing.
