Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Manchester City's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Nou Camp.

City had a lot to do to overturn their 2-0 defeat but showed flashes of their potential in the opening period.

Lionel Messi pounced in the second half to put the tie beyond City, before Pablo Zabaleta was given a second yellow card for dissent.

10-man City registered through Vincent Kompany in the closing moments, but it was not enough for a draw on the night as Barcelona responded immediately through Dani Alves.
