Barcelona can temporarily close the gap on Real Madrid in the La Liga title race when they host Espanyol at the Camp Nou tonight.
Los Blancos moved seven points clear of their arch-rivals on Sunday afternoon but to their credit, Barcelona responded well, travelling to fifth place Villarreal and putting four past the Yellow Submarine.
With Real not in action until Friday night, Barcelona have the chance to claw back some ground again.
