Barnet prospect Mauro Vilhete became something of a TV star last night when appearing on BBC's Late Kick Off in a feature about club community schemes.

Filming took place last Thursday and two days later the 16-year-old grabbed a hat-trick in the youth team's 4-2 win over Gillingham.

The winger, from an estate near Underhill, turned down Aston Villa to go with Barnet and boss Ian Hendon said: "If he keeps progressing, he'll get his chance."

Vilhete has already appeared on the League Two team's bench this season.
