Bayern Munich entertain Salzburg in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie later today.

The opening clash finished 1-1 in Austria last month, with Salzburg leading for much of the match before Kingsley Coman struck a 90th-minute equaliser to give Bayern the edge going into the deciding fixture at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern are the third favourites to win the Champions League this season, behind only Manchester City and Liverpool, and will be confident of booking their place in the last eight this evening.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Bayern Munich vs Salzburg is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off tonight, Tuesday March 8, 2022.

Bayern Munich vs Salzburg prediction

Bayern dominated many of the stats in the first leg, but they found it difficult to break Salzburg down while also looking vulnerable themselves.

Back on home soil though, anything other than a Bayern win that sees them through to the last eight would be a massive surprise.

Bayern to win, 3-1.
