Blackburn choose charity over sponsorship deals

Blackburn will wear the Prince's Trust logo on their shirts for this season.

Aston Villa became the first Premier League club to give publicity to a charity three years ago when they carried the name of a local children's hospice on their shirts.

Blackburn's £5million sponsorship deal with Crown Paints expired at the end of last season and the club decided to reject commercial sponsorship offers to link up with the charity.
