Blake hails Gareth Bale for kick-starting Wales

Crystal Palace defender Darcy Blake believes Gareth Bale’s heroics against Scotland on Friday can inspire Wales as they bid to qualify for their first World Cup since 1958.

Spurs winger Bale struck twice to give Wales their first win of the campaign and, speaking ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Croatia, Blake said: “We’re in this group, definitely. We’ve turned the corner and it’s onwards and upwards from here.”
