Bothroyd homes in on formula for more success

Determined: Jay Bothroyd

Jay Bothroyd wants Queens Park Rangers to turn Loftus Road into a fortress in their first season back in the Premier League.

QPR have won twice on their travels so far but have yet to claim a win at their west London home.

And the England striker is determined to build on last weekend's impressive 3-0 win at Wolves with another victory against Aston Villa on Sunday.

"Villa are a really good side. Although we're playing at Loftus Road, we want to impose our game on them," said Bothroyd.

"We want to make it a tough place for away teams to come.

"I've got a friend of mine who is a fan and he sends me clips of them singing, it's brilliant.

"Even when we lost 4-0 against Bolton, the supporters were there until the end of the match, no one left early. It's a great feeling to know the fans are 100 per cent behind us."
