AFC Bournemouth have been fined £35,000 and warned as to their future conduct having admitted a breach of the Football Association’s doping rules.

The south coast club accepted a charge in relation to Regulation 14(d) of the FA’s anti-doping rules for the season, which requires club’s to maintain accurate information regarding training locations and player addresses.

It is the second time the FA has fined a club over such anti-doping failings this season, with Manchester City accepting a similar charge from the governing body earlier this year.

The FA has a ‘three strikes’ policy in relation to the offence.
