It says a lot about the impact Alan Pardew has made that it already feels like he has been in charge at Palace for a while.

Two wins from two games is rare territory for the Eagles this term but it could be argued a trip to Burnley is his toughest test yet. Sean Dyche’s men have lost only one of their last seven matches at Turf Moor and are playing with the belief they can stay up.

Palace will hope the arrival of Yaya Sanogo on loan from Arsenal will give their attack the boost it needs to maintain Pardew’s momentum.
