When is the Carabao Cup semi-final draw? Date, start time, how to watch, fixture dates for tonight

Man City’s exit earlier in the Carabao Cup has given this year’s competition an open look, and all of those left will have their eye on Wembley glory.

Arsenal are the first team into the last four, after they beat Sunderland 5-1 at the Emirates with Eddie Nketiah scoring a hat-trick.

Chelsea booked their place with a 2-0 win over Brentford, while Tottenham saw off West Ham with a 2-1 victory. Liverpool and Leicester played out a thrilling 3-3 draw, and it was Jurgen Klopp’s side who came out on top in the shootout.

The backlog of fixtures caused by Covid outbreaks in the Premier League has led to calls for the semi-finals to only be played over one leg, freeing up space in the calendar to rearrange some league fixtures.

Jurgen Klopp has been one of those to suggest the Carabao Cup schedule be altered.

“We have different opportunities, first and foremost take away the second semi-final of the Carabao Cup - do it away, just play once wherever you want to play it I don’t care,” Klopp said.

For now though, the semi-final ties are down to be played over two legs, with the winners going through to the Wembley final at the end of February.
