Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid move ‘good news’ for Eden Hazard after Chelsea FC return ruled out

Eden Hazard says Carlo Ancelotti's appointment at Real Madrid is “good news” for him after his struggles in Spain.

The former Chelsea man - who recently rubbished reports of a return to Stamford Bridge - has underwhelmed during his injury-hit time at Real Madrid, leading to suggestions he could be sold this summer.

However, after Ancelotti returned to replace Zinedine Zidane, Hazard is looking forward to working with the Italian.

"He won the Champions League with this group and he knows a lot of the players," said Hazard. "We know that he is a coach with a lot of experience.

"He knows the city and the fans. I think we can do great things together.

"I don't know him personally, but from what I've heard of him he's a very nice person who just wants to win, and that's what we all want.

"We'll have the chance to work together. It's good news for me."
