Caught on Kamara! Football pundit disguises as 85-year-old man to reward shocked London commuters ahead of Euro 2016

Standard Sport29 April 2016

Football pundit and TV presenter Chris Kamara has given lucky Londoners a commute to remember by rewarding a simple act of kindness.

Teaming up with Carlsberg, and equipped with full prosthetics, costume and hidden cameras, the now disguised Kamara took to the Underground as a frail 85-year-old man.

For District Line passengers the task was simple. Those prepared to give up their seat for the 'old man' would be rewarded with a pair of tickets to England's Euro 2016 clash with Russia, in France on June 11th.

Speaking afterward the stunt, Kamara said: “It was great fun to team up with Carlsberg and reward those wonderful people.

"Sending them to the Euros this summer was just unbelievable. England have a brilliant chance and I’d urge the whole nation to get behind the team.”

The activity forms part of Carlsberg’s ‘If Carlsberg Did Substitutions’ campaign, with the brand aiming to substitute ordinary experiences for the extraordinary for England fans across the country.
