Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were today drawn together at the Champions League quarter-final stage in a repeat of last season’s final.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side lifted their tenth European Cup last May with a 4-1 win over Atletico, who have since gained a measure of revenge by winning both La Liga meetings and beating Real in the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.
Barcelona will face Chelsea’s conquerors Paris St Germain for the third time this season having been paired together in the group stage, winning one match apiece.
Monaco, fresh from edging past Arsenal to leave no English clubs in the last eight for the second time in three years, will travel to Italy to face Juventus before the return leg in the Principality while Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich face Porto.
The first legs will be played on 14/15 April with the return games on 21/22 April.
