Mauricio Pochettino hopes to one day manage the Argentina national team and return to Newells Old Boys, but is in no rush to leave Tottenham.

Pochettino has turned Tottenham into Premier League title contenders and regular fixtures in the Champions League during four years at the club.

The Argentine signed a new five-year contract during the summer, and subsequently rejected interest from Real Madrid, but harbours hopes of a future return to his homeland.

For now, though, Pochettino is only focused on the task at hand at Spurs as the club look to end their long trophy drought.

When asked by Spanish newspaper Marca about his current ambitions, Pochettino replied: "Do a great job with Tottenham and win some titles.

"We are happy to have been able to change the club culture and its way of working.

"At a professional level, someday I'd like to be Argentina coach and also coach Newells Old Boys, where I started.

"They are two of the dreams I have, but for now, it's to get to Tottenham as high as possible and always winning. That is my philosophy."
