Charlton are yet to receive any offers for Ezri Konsa, despite interest from Everton and Liverpool.
Konsa, 20, is wanted by both Merseyside clubs but Charlton manager Karl Robinson said on Thursday there have been no bids for the centre-back.
“There are going to be a number of people chasing him,” said Robinson.
“The last five games he has been outstanding. There are going to be a lot of people circling around him.
“He is young, he is English and he has an amazing future ahead of him but we have had no bids for him.”
Robinson wants to buy a new defender if Konsa is sold but admits there is no plan currently in place to sign a replacement, with less than a week until the window closes.
“The longer it goes, the harder it will be,” said Robinson. “We have got ourselves in a bit of a pickle.”
