Chelsea must maintain 'attacking' style during final Premier League title push, says Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte has urged his Chelsea players to continue playing attractive football as they close in on the Premier League crown.

The Blues are the top flight's leading scorers and beat Middlesbrough 3-0 on Monday to move to within a victory of a second title in three seasons.

Indeed, Conte's men need three points from their final three games, but the Chelsea boss says his players will not retreat to a defensive approach to try and force themselves over the finish line.

"We have our idea of football and we must continue to play always in this way, to attack - but at the same time to have good balance.

"We must continue in this way, not to think 'now we must be more defensive to try to defend a result'.

"No. This is not our way. Our way is to try to dominate the game, create chances and always have the right balance."

Chelsea's first chance to clinch the League title will come at the Hawthorns on Friday, and Conte says he is now "a bit relaxed" as his team close in on silverware.

"We have the possibility to do this on Friday against West Brom but for sure it won't be easy," he added.

"Now we have three chances to exploit, to become champions."
