Spain have unveiled their new home kit for Euro 2016, with struggling Chelsea striker Diego Costa at the heart of the team’s campaign.

The 27-year-old forward, who has scored just three goals in 17 appearances for club and country this season, joined the likes of David Silva, Sergio Ramos and national captain Iker Casillas to promote the new Adidas shirt.

Costa drew much of the attention in the images though, provocatively raising his hand to challenge opponents to take on the reigning champions.

It is a key component of the manufacturer’s campaign for the Euro 2012 winners, which leads with the message “who wants it”?

The Chelsea striker may be struggling to find his best form at Stamford Bridge, but national coach Vicente del Bosque offered his assurances to Costa, who has often struggled to find his place in the talented Spanish side.

"How can Costa be harmful for us? We have him so he can get in behind, run channels, pull wide," the World Cup-winning coach said.

"We've not had much luck with him but there's nothing that goes against our style.”

Spain will debut the new kit, which sees a return to the classic blue shorts and dark socks that were ditched for an all-red outfit previously, in Friday’s friendly against England.
