Chelsea transfer news: Marko Marin on the brink of Stamford Bridge exit as flop prepares for Anderlecht move

Chelsea are on the verge of agreeing a deal that will see flop Marko Marin join Anderlecht today.

The Belgium club are expected to announce they have signed the German international on loan with the option to buy the winger outright in the summer.

Marin was signed by Chelsea from Werder Bremen for £7m in 2012, but failed to make an impact in his first season at the club, making just five starts.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Sevilla and the first half of this campaign at Fiorentina, but he has struggled in Serie A.

Fiorentina decided to end their year-long agreement early and Chelsea are not interested in having him back at the club.
