Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Chelsea's 2-0 victory over PSG at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues had a task on their hands to overhaul a 3-1 deficit from the first leg, but Andre Shurrle gave them hope when he converted a David Luiz flick-on just after the half-hour.

PSG had looked solid before the deadlock was broken but Chelsea's opener galvanised the home troops and Schurrle could have bagged a brace when he saw a second-half effort come back off the bar.

Moments later, the Blues were left cursing their luck when Oscar sent a free-kick against the crossbar.

Edinson Cavani could have put the tie beyond all doubt but couldn't capitalise on a glorious opportunity and blazed an effort high over the bar with the clock ticking down.

And Demba Ba made the visitors pay when he stole in to lift the ball into the roof of the PSG net and send the Blues into the last four.
