Pep Guardiola has warned Chelsea that Manchester City will not let up in their pursuit of the title at the Etihad on Sunday.

Chelsea travel to City with the leaders 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League after they beat Arsenal 3-0 on Thursday.

City are chasing the record for the most points in a Premier League season set by Chelsea in 2004-05 when the Blues got 95 points under Jose Mourinho.

Champions-elect City need seven wins from their remaining 10 matches to beat that total and Guardiola has insisted his side will not relax. He said: "Still five games [wins needed], 10 games left. But we can't think too much because the last champions, Chelsea are coming.

"We have not recovery but hopefully the desire to be the best team in England..We must forget our tiredness and hopefully we'll win the game.

Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne has claimed Belgium team-mate Eden Hazard likes the football City play.

“When we play 90 minutes it is a fight but before and after it is alright,” De Bruyne said. “Everyone appreciates good football from other sides.”
