Chelsea and West Ham could contest an all-London FA Cup Final after they were kept apart in the semi-finals of the women’s competition.

The Blues, who lifted the trophy last season, meet Manchester City in the last four, with the Hammers taking on Reading. Both London clubs will be away from home in the matches, which take place on April 14.

Jane Ross’ strike was enough to give West Ham a 1-0 win at Aston Villa in yesterday’s quarter-final, while Chelsea won by the same margin at Durham, thanks to Ji So-yun’s effort in the first half. Emma Hayes’ team defeated Arsenal in last year’s final.

Chelsea are currently third in the Super League, three points behind leaders City, while West Ham are seventh.
