Diego Costa has been filmed wearing an Atletico Madrid shirt in a move which could accelerate his Chelsea exit.
The 28-year-old did not return to Cobham for pre-season training with his team-mates following an agreement with Chelsea and is hoping to secure a return to Atleti this summer.
And Costa, understood to be in Brazil, pulled on his old Atletico Madrid jersey while spending his time off partying and filmed it all on Instagram Live.
The striker arrived at Chelsea from the Madrid club for £32million in 2014 and has his sights on a return after being told by text this summer he was no longer part of Antonio Conte's plans.
At one point during the clip Costa appeared to respond to a comment from Cesc Fabregas, telling the Chelsea midfielder to "give a hug to Conte".
Should Costa move to Atletico Madrid he would not be able to play for the club until January because of a transfer embargo imposed by Fifa.
The Spain international could still join this summer and secure a loan move away from the new Wanda Metropolitano for the first six months of the campaign.
Chelsea have been actively pursuing attacking targets with Costa expected to depart. After losing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, Conte has turned back to Alvaro Morata.
Fernando Llorente is also believed to be on Chelsea wishlist.
