Chelsea star Pedro has revealed the toughest opponent he has faced in the Premier League is Tottenham defender Danny Rose.

The Spurs full-back enjoyed a superb night on Wednesday as Tottenham came from behind to beat Southampton 4-1 in the Premier League - a result that was aided by Rose's showing at St Mary's.

The England international set up Tottenham's fourth goal as statistics show he also created two chances, won all of his aerial duels and all of his tackles during the victory.

To add, Rose has scored two goals in the Premier League so far this season, one of which was the winner against Burnley recently.

His consistent form for Mauricio Pochettino's side is such that Chelsea winger Pedro admitted in a recent interview, which has not yet been published, that the full-back is the toughest opponent he has faced in England's top flight.

"When I interviewed Pedro last week," the Daily Telegraph's Matt Law tweeted on Wednesday evening, "I asked him which player in the PL surprised him.

"He said Danny Rose and rates him as toughest opponent."
