Christian Eriksen has moved joint-top of the Premier League assist rankings as Tottenham kept their title challenge on track with a 4-0 victory over Watford.

Eriksen went in to Saturday's early kick-off a White Hart Lane on 10 assists, and the Denmark international teed up the first of Heung-min Son's two goals to put Spurs 3-0 up after Dele Alli and Eric Dier had got the ball rolling.

The assist for Son leaves Eriksen with 11 for the season, level with Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and former Spurs midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, who has had a fine season as Swansea despite the Welsh club's battle against relegation.

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil led the top flight last season with 19 assists, but the Germany international has only set up six goals this season as the Gunners' title challenge faltered.

Chelsea duo Cesc Fabregas and Pedro both sit on seven assists along with Crystal Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha, while Stamford Bridge midfielder Nemanja Matic sits on six with Ozil.
